Software Engineers

We are VoxPop.TV, a well-funded venture-backed startup based on the waterfront in downtown San Francisco. We're working in the consumer Internet space of Contextual Gaming - an intersection of casual games, pop culture, and social networking. VoxPop's pop culture game technology is now used by some top Web sites, including CBS, CNN, Rhapsody, Entertainment Weekly, Wired, and others. VoxPop recently powered NCAA's College Basketball Bracket Challenge. We're breaking new ground and having a lot of fun doing it.

Software Engineers

We are looking for talented software engineers to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to get in early and step up to a big engineering role at a growing start-up. We're looking for the best developer talent, regardless of whether you are a recent CS grad or an experienced developer.

Our ideal candidate enjoys:

* learning something new every day
* being challenged well-beyond his/her job description
* working in a bright, supportive, self-starting, adaptive team
* making a difference

Candidates must have experience with some of the following technologies:

* Java
* Spring
* Hibernate
* MySQL
* PHP
* Actionscript 2 and 3
* Facebook API

And a passion for performance, scalability, reusability, agile methodologies, and design patterns.

Compensation is a competitive cash salary, plus options and benefits. Not a Bay Area resident? For the right candidate, we'll re-locate you.

If this sounds interesting and you'd like to learn more, we'd love to hear from you. We're at jobs@voxpop.tv.

Thanks for your interest.
